An agreement was signed earlier in mid-May to attract innovation startup companies in Italy from the hub 012factory, an Italian excellence in the innovative entrepreneurial academy. During the day, many startups attended the event and presented their pitch being member of the 012factory, it was followed by meetings with institutions and enterprises supporting the academy.
The agreement was signed by Sebastian Caputo, CEO of 012factory and Adel Alawadhi, Executive Chairman of The Corporate Group in the presence of Adnan Al Awadhi, Non-Executive Board of Director of The Corporate Group and Francesco Corbello, advisor and agent for Corporate Business Services (CBS) in Italy. The agreement is an extension to attracting FDI to the UAE.
"The memorandum of understanding signed today - Sebastian Caputo, CEO 012factory - represents the beginning of a new adventure going globally. The aim is to take 012factory's innovative companies to the UAE markets, starting from Dubai, a crossroads of the economy that is increasingly focusing on innovation and exploring foreign markets in a profitable and constructive way.
"We are here to build strategic partnerships with Italy to allow local entrepreneurs and companies to enter the UAE with innovative ideas and technologies. We are targeting companies in Italy from the following sectors: healthcare, energy, technology, hospitality, fashion and design. We are going to work on exchange programs between UAE and Italy, said by Adel Al Awadhi.
